3 Exercise Progressions for Training the Female Core

This is a busy week here at IIHFE.
This weekend, I’m headed to present at IDEA Personal Trainer Institute East.
I’ll be sharing the Integrative Movement System™ Approach to Posture and Movement focusing on the hip (more specifically the glutes and psoas), knee, and lower extremity.

After surgery, many of these women struggle – it could be weeks, months, or even years later – with chronic tension, weakness, and/or ability to perform at their pre-surgery level and don’t know where to turn for help.
This is why it is so valuable to have an approach like the Integrative Movement System™ Approach to Posture and Movement and why we’ve been sharing this process with you.
The Integrative Movement System™ Approach to Posture and Movement is a 3-step process that enables you to:
- Assess your client to determine her non-optimal and inefficient habits contributing to tightness, weakness, and/or discomfort.
- Use your corrective exercise strategy to help her develop more optimal and efficient habits.
- Integrate these new habits into the fundamental movement patterns your client needs to do to safely and effectively achieve her goals.
