Integrating Scapular Control into Upper Body Patterns – Being Purposeful

In this series of Integrative Movement Insider (IMI) we’ve been discussing one of the key concepts we share during the Integrative Corrective Exercise Instructor™ program – purpose.

We are very purposeful about how we assess, how we use corrective exercise, and how we integrate these concepts into the fundamental movement patterns necessary to helping our clients achieve their health and fitness goals.

In the first video of this series we discussed integrating the foot tripod into the squat and lunge patterns.

In the second video of the series we discussed integrating the principles of the Integrative Movement System – alignment, breathing, and control – into a plank progression we use with our clients.

In this third and final video of the series, I will share with you how we are very purposeful in integrating these concepts into a common pushing pattern to address the forward shoulder position.
